Guidances collects only the data needed to operate the site, personalize optional reading experiences, and protect the service.
Data we may process
Optional profile data may include job role, industries, expertise level, preferred language, portfolio tickers, session identifiers, and article interactions.
Personalization
Personalization is opt-in. Profile inputs are used to adapt summaries and explanations. They should not be used to infer sensitive traits or make professional decisions about readers.
Retention and deletion
Guidances should retain profile and chat data only as long as needed. A deletion and export flow should be provided before public launch.
Model providers
Article and profile context may be sent to model providers only when needed. Secrets, unnecessary personal data, and sensitive profile information should be redacted from prompts and logs.
